Pub Hard Liquor - Only Berries?

Does the Pub only use berries to make liquor? Can you switch it to use other fruits from orchards, like apples/plums/pears?

Are there plans to change this mechanic? Similar to how the new kitchen uses "any food", is flagging the various fruit products as fruits and allowing them to make the liquor in the cards?

Thanks, I think it would be a nice change to make hard liquor production better (and not as reliant on berries), in addition to being more realistic.

Thanks, I think it would be a nice change to make hard liquor production better (and not as reliant on berries), in addition to being more realistic.

Just a suggestion for the devs : you might want to create a mechanic to forbid settlers to eat the berries (maybe by moving them to the Pub storage and flag them as "not edible").

But as you can now use every fruit, it shouldn't be a big problem. :D

Community-Feedback is really, really important to us. Of course, we could develop the game without listening to you. But then we simply wouldn't do our job well. Sure, we're gamers ourselves and can judge what might be cool and what might not. But in the end, it's you guys who play the game and know (maybe better) what it needs. Without you guys, this wouldn't be possible at all.

Yeah, i was thinking about the same. But regarding the berrys: you can make hard liquor out of ALL fruits. Its just not implemented in the game, as i understand it. Strange decision from the devs. Do they not know how to make alcohol?
