Why all the Buffalo at the trading post?
Of the last dozens of traders or more, the only animal that's appeared has been buffalo, and most of them have offered it. Coincidentally, my buffalo pasture happens to be the pasture located closest to the trading post.

At one point, my settlement had a pasture for every animal type, but during a collapse where most of them died, two of my pastures lost their animals. One was a native species that was easy to replace. It's been 100 seasons, and I've yet to replace the Roe Deer. At first, I had seen some hares offered, but then a long long string of buffalo.

I've noticed this in my games.. the pastures closest to the trading post seem to 'influence' the type of animal offered... 'seems' to offer that animal in the closest pasture most... not every time but more often than the others.

Here's My 'workaround' that kind of works for this situation.. move your buffalo to a pasture further away and leave that pasture empty for the time being..

For me i started to get more diversity but sometimes what I did not need.. it is supposed to be random or luck of the draw if you will.

See how you go and if the issue still continues.. send a bug report in to the devs.

Hope this helps out in the interim. :)

Thanks for the tip.

I think the game must have seen my post, because the very next trader had roe deer, and it arrived before I could implement your suggestion.
