I'm playing the scenario "More than survival". I completed all of the Expeditions. I took a chance on a Townhouse mission for cake/coffee. I got the cake part satisfied. But, I need a f***ing coffee seed to plant/grow coffee. I researched the Mast, so I can select the Trader and I have beefed up reputation, but none will offer a coffee bean. I've been trying/waiting for over 100 seasons for a coffee seed. Ridiculous and really not well thought out. It shouldn't really be this hard!!!

Its random, buid a Hunting Lodge and try look into the Forum requests too, I don't remember the name but there is one (or are somes) that gives you seeds

Have you researched coffee in the prosperity research?
then you should get the seed offered by the trader/forum quests

To research coffee in the prosperity research, you need 300 coffee beans LOL

That's right.. keywords '300 coffee beans'.. not seeds...

I asked the question to find out if you had reached prosperity yet.. Now that you have.. you should get the 'seed' being offered by traders (randomly) as well as through the forum.
I was lucky enough to get the coffee beans in trade to unlock the coffee.. soon after I got the seed.

You do not need the seed to get the beans from a trader.
But from the 2 times I've played the scenario.. this was how I got the seed.

All I can do is advise how I got the seed... not once.. but twice.

You dont need to research coffee to find the seeds, I have had traders in scenarios come and offer them, and in most scenarios Prosperity is locked until you beat it, so no coffee tech gotten then.

An Unexpected Opportunity' is one of the ways you get seeds it is repeatable I got it 3 times in my current playthrough.

Your right.. 'A Delicate Little Plant' is another (blue) forum quest specifically to get the coffee bean seed.
