I actually posted a topic on this problem as well recently, its in the support section of this forum. It also describes this problem and ways of either getting around it.

But yes, you should be able to destroy their psionic shields by striking them when they are down. After killing both assassins, the main baddy starts attacking you. It seems to be bugged sometimes however which changes the NPCs behavious such as him attacking earlier.

By the way, calm down a bit. It is a free mod..

I get the feeling this fight is particularly impossible for archers.

After trying and failing to kill these two with a bow I YTed it, and the guy (who was no doubt on a much harder setting) just hit them a couple of times when they were down and they died. I hit them with countless arrows in multiple attempts and the most I managed was to kill the electricity dude. I finally managed it by accidentally getting into a corner of the room where the old guy couldn't see me, so conceal stayed up. Downed the assassins with fire arrows when they were clustered together, and then kept shooting at them and one hitting them whenever they revived as they couldn't see me, and they ended up going down pretty quickly. Old guy also just ambled around not being able to see me so was an easy kill. Long story short, it seems easiest as an archer if you a) manage to stay concealed and b) take the assassins down asap when they are close together (so you can just keep hitting them and don't have to run away from one). They don't follow you up onto the scaffolding, but as the old guy is up there, you are unconcealed and the electricity one can still do you damage even if you move behind the box.

they seem vauable to the mud summon i pop him out he would beat up on one of them while i went to town on the other (was using the forgotten sword on them) kept hitting one until he/she was dead(at the same time using healing potions and resummoning mud dude; cause they had abitlies to stun summoning to stop fighting.) that third dude only came into fighting after i killed one of them it seems. it took me several retries until i got it right. oh paralze poison on weapon might help too(would need lots of them cause they don't last long)

ps
i would try make sure i beat up the one that did nuking first.

Wait! I just need to hit them when they are down? I thought it was Caravan part 2. This makes the fight potentially possible for me now. I think I'm a tad under level and spent a good 2 hours trying to beat them last night.

read the messages on the upper left that appear during the fight.... it explains itself. jezz. heck it even tells you there is SHIELD protecting them and shows how much % it has left. this fight is pretty awesome actually as it has something more to it than mindless button mashing.

my character is lv 37 and the fight only took me about 20-30mins first time i did this quest. i redid this quest again cause of update...wanted to hear thairan talk in my house after end of the other quest line verses standing like a statue and not saying anything. will worth it:) this time i didnt die once and finish the fight 5-10mins.

Like I said, the dude in the video just hit them a couple of times when they were KO (with a melee weapon). For me as an archer this did not work. While I managed to get one to die once, I had to shoot an insane amount of arrows. I only managed it when I stayed concealed, I'm guessing due to doing a ton more damage and not having to waste time trying to not get hit myself.

I felt the same way.

Firstly, that this quest is set to a difficulty that doesn't actually match how hard it is. If I did it at level 30 instead of 15 I probably wouldn't have struggled as much.

Secondly, for whatever reason, I also used about 50 arrows in this fight. Running around like a headless chicken, jumping from rock to rock trying to kite these two butthats for what must have been at least 5 minutes.

donation isn't payment, so even if u did donate, which i highly doubt, they owe you nothing. yeah, sadly any ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can complain about free mod and write ridiculous things in the internet. that's how this things work in the world

A bit late but the mechanic is: Downing the assassins once activates their shield. Downing them a second time allows you to weaken their shields and and finally put an end to them. This fight is easier with a summon to tank damage and draw aggro from one of them.
