Wondering if anyone can suggest a fix for this. I have chosen to side with Dijaam and now have to fight the two 'Petrified' mercenaries in the Theatre after the big reveal.
The problem however, is that I can not manage to kill them and trigger the fight with Mendelus.
Whenever I 'kill' the two assassins they keep getting back up, after a short animation with some sort of magical explosion/them glowing blue.
Is there something I am missing? I have even tried to kill both of them through the use of the console, but they just recover from it, almost as if they are essential NPCs.
Thanks for any input.
I am posting it here as I was not sure if there is a game mechanic or trick I am missing.
I will repost this in the support section.
Thanks for confirming that these two npcs should usually go down.
I have just added "(Spoilers)" to the title, just in case ...
For anyone else struggling with this, the commands I used:
setessential 0013fa21 0
setessential 0013fa23 0
After that you can kill them.
Also, as you can see in my initial post I was in fact asking if I was missing a mechanic that should have been utilized. I did not assume it to be a bug straight away. I must say that I have not seen any explaination of this mechanic in game by the way. Also tried google before posting anything, and I could find no guidance there either.
I my case devra was down all the time but apparently not really.
It took several 'rounds' to finish them both off, but it didn't really take too long.
