can't play warhammer 40k winter assault

I have warhammer 40k dawn of war on CD installed on my PC and I have winter assault on steam, but I can't play winter assault because it think I don't have warhammer 40k dawn of war. So what do I have to do?

actully i think u can play warhammer 40k winter assault with i the first fame if its on steam i have the fist 3 dawn of war games and i can only paly the first one and the third one i think there is a bug in the game

hmmm it seems that I have the same issue. I cant run winter assult, but I can run the original. If any one knows as to why this is occuring please inform or better yet post a solution. Thank you

I fix it :) u need to update the orginal to 1.51 when its updated go in D:\THQ\Dawn of War and copy W40kWA.exe and WinterAssault.exe to D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dawn of War Gold :)

download (patch 1.41 full) then (patch 1.41 to 1.50) and (patch 1.50 to 1.51)

I have payed for the game and tried to download it and all it downloaded was the trailer. Did not get any of the game. What do I need to do? Thanks!

I tried doing what homoGarry suggested, still did not work. Steam should know better to keep selling this game with this many people having problems with it. I will try a few other things and then after that I will cancel and get my money back.

they are giving you the steam game if you own the retail CD&Key, go to SEGA Support and they'll help you.

i have the Boxed non-steam collection of dawn of war + all expansions, i wrote to sega and they gave me the steam version of the games
