What to play after KIwami 2?
I've finished YK2, not I'm wondering if I must play Y3 (which I hear is quite bad) or skip and move to 4 or 5.... what do you think?

No, you shouldnt skip any game, they are all relevant in the story of kiryu. And no, 3 isnt bad despite what button mashing skill issue flops say on the internet, is it dated? yes, its a slight remaster of a ps3 game, is it worth skipping? absolutely not, it has some of the best story elements in the series, the ost is one of the best and the final boss is one of the greatest

Thanks
The "yakuza 3 sucks" crowd is let down by Kiwami 2 being a remake. Its jarring to go to it, but Y3 has some of the best beats of Kiryu as a character. You're gonna struggle with gameplay at first until you figure out what its asking of you because the modern games are so different. Weapons are your friend, heat actions do comically low damage compared to new games.

Thanks!
I honestly prefer Yakuza 3 Remaster over the constant slog of fighting and fighting mini-games in Kiwami 2. If you pretend the company went bankrupt and had to start all over, it feels like a superior game in my opinion.
I feel like the difficulty people report in fighting are the same people who play either easy or normal difficulties.

do not under any circumstances skip yakuza 3, although the gameplay isn't exactly the best. the story is one of the best in the entire series

You’re using a lot of words to admit you’re a crappy gamer.

Oh well, you should have said observation and interpretation was your weakness. My mistake, carry on—assuming you can process this correctly.
