Why is there a substory for this? Mahjong is cancer, makes no sense, and it takes longer to learn how to win at it than it does to play every Yakuza entry back to back.

If I remember correctly you can get that item three times.
Read or watch a guide, if you really want to complete that substory.
It should be easy then.
I can't play Mahjong either and managed to do it. You can, too ;)

Tried watching guides, they make no sense or tell you to go to x or y link and watch hours of mahjong tutorials and tournament play. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous.

no way you still lost lmao. the cheat item will autowin you against even the hardest opponent. and the substory opponent is the easiest one

maybe you just don't know how to use it? all you have to do use peerless tile and choose tsumo (don't choose richi)

Was hesitant to do that substory after 9 chapters in. Was getting to me that it was the only one that wasn't completed and just went for it. Had some item on me that I got from another substory or through exploration and it let me win the mahjog substory automatically.

Was lucky but yeah, not a great idea to incorporate it as a substory

tried do learn the rules for the substory, lost 8300pts in one turn after 25mn for a reason i don't understand (a "dora" thing), why the ♥♥♥♥ do they insist of putting those kind of mini games ??? I'm a pretty good belote player and i reaaly don't want to play belote in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game against AI !!!!!

Mahjong is not that hard and the cheat tile should make you pretty much instawin.

Save yourself the trouble and use the cheat item. it's only on the below floor of the same building. look around the office. the item called peerless tile

there's also another cheat item from substory reward

If you used the cheat item and lost you done it wrong, i don't have the patience to mahjong either, overwhelming rules, use peerles tile and choose tsumo, insta win.
