its like the older lego games where the characters would just grunt, sure they didnt speak but it still spoke volumes
Not sure it has much affect on my enjoyment. If you got this far into the series and you don't hear Majima's voice when you read his lines then you aren't playing Yakuza right.

There’s no voice acting in MAIN missions outside of cutscenes either
why does everyone want games to be upto their expectations? If you want VA so much play a triple A title
Both Yakuza 0 and Kiwami had everything related to main story voice acted.
Yeah, there are some transitional dialogues that aren't voiced.

As far as up until chapter 4 which is where i am at, ALL of the transitional dialogue isn’t voiced, which is half of the dialogue which is very noticeable and wasn’t the case in the 2 previous games.
Up until a couple of years ago, Yakuza was a pretty niche series. It's a JRPG-BeatEmUp and the only series even close is Shenmue, another niche series with only a few (rabid) fans.
