This thread is now the official discussion thread for any and all Yakuza games part of the franchise, most specifically PC.

Make sure to use spoilers when talking about events that happen in the games to prevent spoiling people

At this point Sega says they're very happy with the sales of the Yakuza games on PC, they're clearly looking to make it a multiplatform series in the future by announcing Yakuza 7 day one on PC and they need to give PC players a chance to catch up storywise.

They also announced the first Yakuza ports at the PC gaming show in 2018 so it would make sense to follow it up this year with the next games in the series.

Everything's coming together and I'd be extremely surprised if nothing's announced.

That tweet on top of everything just makes me think surely we'll hear something about the remastered collection on the 13th

It 100% makes sense the collection is released before 7. The signs have been so obvious and after this tweet I think it's clear we're gonna expect the announcement tomorrow. You never know, SEGA might surprise us and add 6 to the collection for PC players as 6 was released as a standalone title on PS4 before the collection initially dropped.

Even though I've already played all the games on PS4, I'm really looking forward to Yakuza 6 on PC as that game was gorgeous but ran horribly so I never bothered to 100% it.

Storywise it's probably the most important one to play before Like A Dragon so I really hope that they do announce it as part of the collection but I'll still be happy with 3, 4 and 5 for now.

I really hope so. It'll be incredibly disappointing if we just hear nothing.

It has to be about the collection. They specifically showed a Yakuza clip in their tweet. It can’t be about Y7 since they showed gameplay and spoke about it 3 nights ago. It HAS to be about the collection surely. If it was another game I highly doubt they’d post a Yakuza game clip it wouldn’t make sense.

My disappointment is just beyond levels. I'm extremely disappointed and upset that we heard nothing of the collection coming to PC.

I can't believe they seemingly teased so much that Yakuza would be there and there was nothing. I'm very happy about Persona 4 Golden but if they didn't announce the Remastered Collection there I'm worried Sega may not be bringing it over :(

well you guys are all disappointment just because of there is no Yakuza for today, lets be honest.

yeah i am a little bit disappointed as well, but life will go on, at least we will have Y7 on December somewhere, this is already good !

I don't even care for Persona tbh. All I wanted was the collection and we didn't even get that. Why would SEGA tease it so much and release a brand new Yakuza title which literally spoils the Kiryu saga for PC players when the rest of the games aren't even on PC yet?? I'm disappointed, severely.

I would be surprised if Sega chose to announce it at New Game Plus Expo instead of the PC Gaming Show but I guess for now that's the next possible time it could happen even if I think it's pretty unlikely unfortunately

thanks for info, it's on 23rd of June if I am not mistaken, so I 'll see whats coming on this event.

And knowing Sega, they can just announce collection without any news , so may be , may be.

if not then not, unlucky .. at least I will continue my legendary runs on K1 and K2 on PC before 7 comes out
