Any advice on this thing, I am trying to farm for the 2 scrolls at the end but everything I can do give trivial amounts of points? I am not good enough to run the homerun challenge to the second level

Are you using a mouse and keyboard or a controller?
Personally I use the mouse to aim rather than the controller it's more easier and accurate for me.

Controller, I tried even using the beginner homerun match, with the expert bat and I still only get like 20 points, the points accumulate super weird, but it seems that the runs arent affected by the bat stats, I might be very wrong

I agree about the mouse. I use the controller for everything else, but use the mouse on a lower DPI (400 or 800) and it isn't very difficult, especially with the Serene bat. Yes, you get less points with the Serene bat equipped, but it might also allow you to finish challenges you otherwise couldn't. I definitely needed the Serene bat for the homerun challenges and even with the penalty it is still the fastest way to collect points.

well, i tried with the serene I got 5 hw at the foirst round, the second i got none, none, thats how bad I am

what I've been doing is using the Normal Bat while playing the 1 on Expert.

Expert Bat makes your life way harder, I personally won't recommend it.

Expert 1 gives you 100 points each.
Normal Bat doesn't decrease or increase.
Essence skill: 20 games
Battle skill : 10 games

Even losing you get 10 points at least.
Since you need to complete to rest to unlock it, it wouldn't take long for you to get the Battle Skill and start the Essence skill.

Look up CyricZ's awesome Kiwami 2 walkthrough on Gamefaqs, Its got a list of the which zone the ball passes through for the first 8 rounds of the homerun challenge. I suck at batting so I have to use the easy bat, but I get around 300 points per run. It still takes forever to get those stupid scrolls.

You sir are a saint, I thought it was all random because I couldn't find a guide, until I noticed they always repeated and I resorted to having to write it all by hand and find it myself, now I know where to look, you have my thanks good sir.
