PS4 Prompts

I just started the game and I'm getting the basic windows controller layout prompts. It doesn't default to PS4 prompts when I plug my PS4 controller in like 0 and Kiwami did. Would it be possible to include PS4 prompts?

If you're using DS4 windows it most likely won't show PS4 prompts. Instead just use steam's built in controller configuration.

I use steam built in but it doesn't show ps prompt either

Does it work normally for you or you don't use ds4 and just thought that might be the problem?

Didn't work with DS4windows on. But it worked for me when I had it off.

What is your settings? Do you have the playstation box ticked?

For me some games work without it being ticked but others it has to be. This game in particular if it's ticked it show xbox prompt, if it's not the controller doesn't work all together.

I had the same issue, fixed it by ticking off the "PlayStation Configuration Support" box and relaunching the game, now it works just fine. I don't have DS4 Windows installed, for that matter.

dang it, it just doesn't work for me. The controller can be used in big picture mode but it won't be recognized ingame. Try restart steam and everything but it still doesn't work.

Me too, I just ticked off the "PS Config support" and run it from desktop, not from big picture mode and it works. I only ticked on the "Guide".

EDIT: I'm using cable, not bluetooth btw

This is weird.. do you have DS4 Windows or any controller emulating program running? Are you using it wireless or wired?

Turning off Configuration support actually worked for me, although now the PS4 controller light won't turn off I'm getting Dualshock prompts now so thanks!

Glad it worked! But this is funny, because my light bar is on.

When I have the option on, the light bar is "light blue" and I get Xbox icons, when I turn it of, the light is "Dark Blue" and I have PS icons just fine, even the touch pad works for moving the map.

Zero and Kiwami worked even with Controller Configuration On, and it's kinda weird since the game even has an official profile for Dualshock 4 too, but still shows Xbox buttons ):

Guess I'll disable it for the game too...

Can anybody help me with this one as well? I can't seem to get the "dark blue light" in the game itself, even when I unticked the PS4 support option. Like, it's dark blue when I'm in big picture mode, but once I start the game, the light automatically changes to light blue.

The controller was not detected by the game itself when ticking off "PlayStation Configuration Support".
