- Acknowledges that 3 had some strong emotional moments
- Paints it's biggest flaw as merely lacking 'punch'
- Suggests the director of 3 was brought back to do 4 specifically because of the director of the
prior entries in the series recognizing 3's strengths and seeing potential for improvement
- Paints the director as having his heart in the right place
It's hardly just trash-talking. As for the lack of Kiwami 3...it's only like a console gen and a half old. Sure it's harder to get a hold of than 4 or 5, but it's considerably more modern. Plus, I can respect RGG Studios not wanting to remake old games for the next like, 6 or more years it would take to remake 3/4/5? I think moving forward with something fresh and different will be much better for the franchise as a whole. Shin Yakuza looks like it'll be just that too, so there's that.
Get off your high horse, after all those years YOU are the minority.
