Angela went from being kind of a funny brat, in my mind, to being a somewhat spoiled princess that still has a strong will and a heart of gold. The dialogue between party members while out exploring definitely helps reinforce her character as well.
Everyone else is pretty much how I thought they would be.

Her lines don't have to sound as soft and reserved as they do, most of the time, even with the formal speech pattern. High born characters that speak extremely formally but forcefully isn't exactly uncommon. For example of a character with a pretty personally soft/formal that still comes across as fierce and forceful with a formal speech pattern is Dunkerque, voiced by Harada Sayaka, from Azur Lane. She actually flips between extremely sweet and extremely forceful depending on the situation, and I absolutely adore her (though, part of that is actually loving the ship).

There's also the matter of Trials of Mana having a more cutesy graphical style than some other renditions. Even just looking at her artwork for the game makes her look less cutesy than looks in game.
Also, Angelia is actually a spoiled princess. That doesn't stop her from being sensitive and responsible, when it matters, however.
