why can't i change classes?
hi, i got to the ice and fire mana stones... and at each one it tells me i can change my class(es)... so i'm like okay *click* and then it says:

"it looks like you're not high level enough to change classes yet"

i was lvl 18 the first time i changed to 2nd class and then i went to the ice mana stone at like lvl 33... isn't it every ten levels you get to change classes? or is there something i'm doing wrong?

you need to be level 38 and a class item

You need to be level 38 to class change and the class item. You won't start getting said class items until after you've found all the stones and Spoiler: The Benevodons are released The class items needed to change your class are found in ??? Seeds and they drop off mobs and are found in Treasure Chests.

For the best results wait till you have six then plant them all at once to get all of the classes that are available at once. Have fun.

UUUUUGGGGHHHH.... wow that's such a buzzkill. u get 2nd class super easily and quickly and then third class takes proportionally way longer so you're stressing out thinking that you've missed some key item or something but it really just takes forever.

i just got the mana sword but i haven't even gotten a single ??? seed yet. maybe i'm just being too greedy, i really just want the outfits.

You should start to encounter enemies that can drop them soon after getting the Mana Sword.

I don't recall if they drop in the area you go to right after the sanctuary or the next one after that, but soon.

it's the dungeons after that sequence. each has at least one chest with a guarenteed ??? seed. these are the ones that will not duplicate items if you plant 6 at once. you can also get them as rare drops from certain monsters in those dungeons, but these ones are not included in the special "no dupe" formula, if i remember correctly.

It feels that way because they changed level progression from the original game but they didn't change the story.

If the original if you were rushing you could have your first class change at the ice/fire mana stone (the 2nd one you picked) or even the moon mana stone if you were speed running.
You had to farm like crazy if you wanted to have your first class change before the ghost ship (I had a routine to get it just going back to palo and getting in the ship).
And for the lv 38 you were getting it usually just before the last benevodon (the first benevodon started around lv 30).

So it was a little more balanced. But with the new skill system they had to change it a bit and make the wind stone lv 18 adn the first benevodon lv 38 so that you have the time to level up and actually enjoy your skills.

Nah I should just mention that each of the 7 areas have one chest that has a ??? Seed. You could alternatively plant it right away and just use the class you are given. Every 3rd class is OP so you really can't lose. If you don't like it there is an item called the Goddess Scales you can find later that can set you back to the first class and you can start again.

Mobs drop seeds too but if it's just the outfits you want...

It won't be as fun as collecting them and their powerups the old fashion way though.

yeah i don't really wanna mess with mods. i did get two ??? seeds and upgraded Angela's class to 3rd level already. i guess my main gripe is with the messages constantly letting you know you can upgrade to 3rd class before you even know that you need ??? seeds from a certain area you don't even have access to bc of the story yet XD
