What's the easiest way to deal with Angela's Class 4 quest?
I just spammed Thunderstorm, is there an easier way?

Drop a few Ancient Curses when the Dark Angela does that long ass CS move. But yeah, other than that I just spammed fast firing spells and dodge rolled like crazy.

I did it with Grand Diviner on Hard Mode and spammed Doppleganger. Items and ability setup is much more important IMO.

  • Magic Armor (15% chance that enemy spells do 0 damage)
  • Elemental Reduction (Decrease elemental damage by 20%)
  • Limit Break II (Magic damage increase by 25%)
  • Cast Resist II (Receive 30% less damage when casting)
  • Abilities you might get from other party members e.g. Reactionary (Magic attack & defense buff when health is low)
  • Sahagin Chip (Magic attack & defense buff)

Other items that I haven't tested but might also help would be Matango Oils (Reflects spell back to caster; not as powerful as the original game now as it only reflects once), Harpy Fang (wind damage and silences enemy).

I mostly stacked anything that improved damage and tried not to get hit too much.

My Angela was a Grand Diviner, and I mostly spammed Saint Beam since that's her most damaging level 2 spell. There are a few moments where Doppelganger is safe to use, but I found that all those explosions could obscure a bit too much.

As Runemaster i just spammed Dark lvl 2 Magic bec. of lower cast-time than some lvl 3 magic. Evade 2-3x then use magic 1-2x, evade and repeat.

enemy uses double spell, make sure u dodge twice, not once.
enough time for ancient if u dodge her tech

What gets you Ancient Curse? I didn't and still don't have it. In what I'm assuming is the final dungeon of the game, since it's so long. Also I keep finding Goddess Scales, is there a point to resetting my classes?

They're mostly there to change your class without having to start a new playthrough.
I guess you could use the class reset in order to farm class change items for both Light and Dark paths.

Ran circles rolling and spamming Explode+.

Do those character abilities that unlock on NG+ unlock if I use all new characters? Because they're chain abilities right?

I double rolled when it double casted, dodged through when coming to melee and spammed Dark Force. When it made the class strike, I unleashed Ancient Curse. First try after a lil while. Hurt a lot though and had one close call, lucky enough I had enough HP due to learning Earthquake.

Compared to the rest of the game, this one was a bit similar to a Dark Souls boss.

Farming mushroom guys in the wandara woods for Matango Oils can also help. The item reflects damage once. Sahagin chips for more attack and defense is also good.

I ran away & cast Dark Force repeatedly & used healing items when I could.

dodge the instant the red circle fills up to avoid the dmg, any earlier and you will get hit by both spells she multicasts. wait for her to start running towards you, which means she wants to melee/CS you, best time for you to cast fast spells, while running awy from her.

Slap her with your cane, she is a mage class.

Dodge + fast spell, repeat until she is dead.

Also do not use lock on camera unless you need to recenter view. From my experience its harder to outrun the red circles
