The demo won't start, sais .exe is missing

When I go to the game options and verify the integrity of the game cache, it sais all files are good. Anyone else encountered this issue?

same thing just started for me. i was playing eariler today but now it is saying the exe is missing. When i go to the game folder it is empty like it deleted itself but when i verify game cache it says all files are good.

Seriously? I spent 5 hours downloading the demo, and they delete it 5 minutes after I complete my download??

They removed it because putting the 15gb .pak file from the full game into the demo folder gave you the full game for free just by playing the demo.

They likely won't ever bring it back in all honesty.

I'd upload the demo's .exe for you, but seeing as it's now in the copyright circumventing territory and I'm an unheard of nobody on the internet (thus can't protect myself from a big lawsuit or something), I'll pass.

Just find someone else to upload it for you though, IIRC it is less than 10mb.

It's alright, I'm not THAT eager to try this game. New Xenoblade Chronicles comes out soon as well, so I probably wouldn't be able to finish this one anyway.

The ONLY way you can keep playing the story after when the demo is supposed to end is if you purposely pirate the full game then overwrite the demo's 8gb .pak file with the full game's 15gb .pak file. It also 100% removes the demo screen.

Don't play dumb & innocent when it's that deliberate.
