Stuck at mirage palace

I've almost beat the game, but now im stuck at mirage palace. The title of my mission is ??? and i have to find a way to progress.

Ive beaten all the rooms and got the lamps to ignite with purple flames except the bottom right one where it leads to a cave. I found a mimic in there beat it then after that i can't progress.

Please help!

When I was young and played this game for the first time I was stuck at almost each and every quest, such as using Wisp to show the way, finding the Hammer to turn into Koropokkur... etc.

And I find it AWESOME. The frustrated feeling just keep piling up but when you explore every nook and cranny or suddenly know what you should do, it's the best feeling you can ever get (at least for the young me back then).

So with that said, no walkthrough for you. Do your best, I'm cheering for you |( `O')/

Maybe check one of the walkthroughs for the original?

It has been over a decade since i last played through the mirage palace in the original and I am on a Riesz playthrough for the first remake playthrough so... I guess you have to be the pioneer on this? :D

I'm having a similar issue, except instead of the cave its the Chartmoon Tower illusion. defeated the enemies outside, went in, got the cutscene, and beat the waves of enemies it threw at me but nothing happened after that, and nothing happens no matter how many times I go back in there. Can't open any of the doors either, unless there is something i'm not seeing? As for the cave illusion, yeah it threw me out as soon as I killed the mimic and lit the flame so... I guess we're just kinda screwed xD

Same problem here. Can't find a solution seems its a hard bug
