Having problems with my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 running the game
Hello Everyone,

I just tried the demo version of the game and encountered some issues:
-The cinematics have odd glitches and vibrating characters
-Even in 30 FPS the game tends to be a bit laggy

I am using a Lenovo E480 which is not supposed to be ideal for gaming. (I know, please don't judge.) However, given the fact that the game is not demanding as Witcher 3, I would assume that in minimal settings this game would perform well.

A question that I have is, whether this is a demo only issue or the full version is also not optimized for low gaming performance laptops?

Your GPU is your problem, indeed. Even that game looks not like Witcher, it's too hard four your gpu. That gpu was never for playing. Sorry mate, that isn't even a low gaming card. Hard to hear, but it isn't.

Your laptop isn't just low gaming performance -- it has essentially no modern 3d gaming performance. This game is well beyond what you can run properly.

It seems to work better if I lower the resolution and play 30 FPS. Better than nothing I guess. External GPU is unfortunately a no go as well.

Intel UHD Graphics is intended solely for video playback, desktop usage, and light GPU work. It is a component of your CPU and has very little shader bandwidth unlike a dedicated GPU.
