PS4 Controller

I can't get my PS4 controller to work with the demo ...
However, it works with all the others games.

Other people have this problem?

mine works... but indeed, as many other complains, it's using the stupid xbox buttons as display... ._. but i just plugged it and just works like it should

Make sure the PS controller support is checked in the steam settings.

To save anyone that has a similar idea the time: Disabling the Steam controller configuration in the game's right-click properties menu does not give the game PS4 icons. Some games autodetect PS4 controllers and support them outright, but detect Steam's PS4 controller support as Xbox. This is not one of those games: the controller will only work with the Steam (or other) configuration that has the PS4 controller work through XInput.

Hopefully there will be a mod for this, or option on full release.

ughhhh, so tired of this... What's sad is it the tiny indie games and small companies that tend to always have full controller supports, its crazy how some games from bigger companies will be ps4 exclusive, then have locked xbox icons on steam.

edit: speaking of, this game does not come out on xbox, yet they couldn't be bothered to have the icons as options. I remember sekiro pc actually internally had an option for xbox or ps4 icons, but it was set to xbox and not included in the menus. Well, usually a modder fixes it and this game's menus are simple enough, but its still annoying.

Yeah I don't have any excuse personally: for whatever reason I do not process the Xbox buttons in my head. Nintendo's layout has been ingrained in my head since I first played the SNES in the early 1990s. Sega and then Microsoft inverting the letters for the face buttons causes me endless confusion. It shouldn't as much as it does, but boy it does...

I am like this but with ps controllers, though I adjust to nintendo after a bit, I never played much xbox so the buttons always through me for a loop, especially without any matching controllers.
