As usual, switch voice acting to JP.
Infinitely better. Actors actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ *emote*. You won't get the words (unless you read the text) but you will FEEL what they were trying to say a ♥♥♥♥ ton more.
I pray to God you're just a troll because otherwise you need serious mental help. You've already lost an account to your idiocy and are well on the track to losing this alt you so pathetically try to make look legit.
Sometimes you just gotta blame the person who wrote her character, not the voice actors.
Here's the person to blame, from the 1995 version: http://shmuplations.com/seikendensetsu3/
And til today Mist is still my top favourite character of the series.
Which English voices were you listening to? All the minor NPCs sound like SE asked overzealous Comicon goers, "Hey, can you read these lines real quick?"
The voicework is very rushed and low budget across the board.
honestly it reminds me of Sonic adventure, wouldn’t be surprised if I found out they were just given a script and told to read off of it and given just an cliff notes on what emotions to express for the lines, Hell, half of the lines sound like they've been spliced together.
specially Angela’s lines oof
Truth is, to me, being able to understand what is spoken to me adds so much more to the experience of the game than reading subtitles.
Feels like every Japanese game the releases with dual audio the hate army rolls out and starts crapping on people who listen to the dub instead of letting us enjoy it how we want to and we let you enjoy it how you want to.
No Japanophile here. This game just has plain bad voice acting. It ranges from bad to straight cringe. The solution is to turn all voices off, not use Japanese.
