However this is a rare game where Character Creation being absent makes some sense
The stories between each character are pretty interwoven
it's one of the best things about the game
The other great thing is the Multiplayer (hint hint Square -.^ )
The main draw in this game is the characters and how each playtrough is different depending on the team you choose, it's all about these 6 characters and their stories.
The replay value in this game is insane, I've lost count on how many times I have played trough this.
Character creation would turn this into something different entirely and would kill much of what this game is about.
Combat in the original sucked though, you really only played this for the story, world, music and graphics.
I can't wait to play this with a good combat system this time.
Whats the bet OP used to sniff glue.
Basically, there's 3 end bosses/story routes, and one M/F pair for each storyline.
Which is a downgrade from the original where you picked two of the six and got their stories allowing for replay value.
Actually, the original allowed you to pick three characters of the 6, just like in this one. You play the introduction of the main character and the final dungeon and final boss depends on which main you pick. No downgrade. It's pretty much like in the original.
