Never even heard of these. I am going to check them out for sure!
Atom RPG, Atom RPG Trudograd (simply good)
Insomnia: The Ark (not turn-based, but similar vibe. rough around the edges but good).
Colony Ship (short but very good)
Underrail (very hard but good)
Mechajammer (completely broken mess, but very interesting nontheless)
Death Trash (non-TBS, weird and good, still EA though)
Wasteland 2, Wasteland 3 (janky but good)
Caves of Qud (in core a traditional roguelike, offers non-permadeath modes and is similar to classic turn based RPGs in many ways, very unusual but interesting type of sci-fi setting)
Thats all the ones that are somewhat similar i know of.
I'm just going to echo a few mentioned above as being excellent. That said, I had a wonky laptop that kept some of these games from working great for me, but overall, I fully endorse Fallout Tactics
