Med Packs are very rare for this hard fights and the crafting-materieals are even more rare. And this packs are just healing 15 points in the turn you use it. Thats the strength of just one normal hit from an enemy.
The Healing-Ability from the Med-Skill is even worse and quite useless, because you can heal only 3 little points per use, but you get 100 fatigue/withering per use. It is like to slap a little plaster on your broken leg and getting exhausted from that like if you have done a six-hours-heart-operation.

first aid skill removes 15 Rads per use, Radforce like 800? Or you can go to a decontermination chamber (unless you deactivated that one) for free.

I'm surprised that medpacks are rare, we will look into it. Starting areas have tons of medkit boxes...
Simply, you can have medkits full of antirads/other drugs/ empty, and find only two medkits before the nashville. that is how it been for me at least.
also, i usually try to get through them, but i cant go to the back door on one of the ramps.3.
