major props for that sentence
- EA phase had act 1 in it
- act 1 consists of a ~7 level mega city with 20+ quests in an around and a ~4-5 level "dungeon" right at the start which had many ways to go through (stealth / combat) which was all in all quite nice and had about ~15hrs playtime.
- act 2 & 3 were hidden for full release with no more infos
- last year of development was very chaotic, developer went radio silent, strange news of new publisher / investor and so on
- game got released without further notice but promised features were cut like the mobile base (which got added later on per patch)
- act 2 consisted of 4 more "cities" which were really big nice maps but sadly empty, only 1-2 main quests in each city, zero side quests in comparison to the 7 level mega city with 20 sidequests from above a total let down
- act 3 is a single 1 level dungeon, (other games like Solasta or Cyberpunk also treated the last small tiny part as its own act which is just a lie)
- act2&3 offers together maybe 10 more hrs playtime so in total you spent more time in act 1 as in act 2&3 together
What happened is most likely that the developers ran out of money and had to cut the content down, the city maps for example were finished but not the quests for it. I guess the game needed about 1-2 more years for content creation.
Something similiar happened also to Breathedge, first half quite good survival base building in space, developers got canned, new developers took over, made a linear second half of the game and pumped it out.
