Is there a consequence later in the game for stealing the Jupiter Moon Car?
It seems like the kind of thing that would have a consequence later but it also requires certain stats to take and it seems to result in the start of the main game the same as the truck.

Basically, I don't know if it's a reward for managing to steal the car or if it's a trap that gets you either sooner (if you don't escape) or later (if there are consequences later).

Yeah, the one in the garage in the prologue.

I too am incredibly curious about this. I haven't found pretty much any information on stealing the Jupiter Moon looking around.

Given the amount of time passed your initial post OP, did you find out if there were any benefits or drawbacks to taking the Jupiter Moon during the prologue?

I did.
There's no consequence. Though, if you take the normal option then an NPC comes with you, which can provide some flavor. Pretty sure there's no tangible reward or downside either way though.

Ah so just some narrative flavour then. Cheers for the quick reply!

Yeah, as far as I can tell. That and a quick way to die about 3 times over if you don't have just the right skills, haha.
No worries, pure chance. Happened to shut down a game just after you posted and saw the notification. Glad you didn't have to hang around long though.

Driving out in my new stolen car only to immediately loose the game was a great introduction to this game. :D

It does make for a pretty funny intro, haha. It is fully possible to escape though too. Though, you can only pick to go where you were going to go anyway, otherwise it's another death, haha.
