Nashville Cave Relic Problem

I'm trying to get to the relic in the Nashville Cave. I've turned on all of the control panels and power terminals, and I'm trying to get to the "generator" outside, but the "Consuming Darkness" kills me before I can reach it- every time! Is there a way to immunize against Consuming Darkness, or a better way to reach the generator? Thanks in advance!

there are some generatorconsoles with wich u can power a littel bit of light. when u did this u can run to the generator and start him.

I've activated all of the consoles. Consuming Darkness still gets me as soon as I go outside toward the generator

you have to time it so that you catch the two spotlights lighting the approach to the generator. just observe at what times they turn on and off and you should get the idea when to start running. keep in mind tho that once you turn that backup generator on youll have to go back and activate the system on the right again. then youll be able to run to the relic no problem

there is a generator on the left hand side power it up then head back to the main power terminal and use it again, it should fix the flickering power issue

so in total you have switched on three power switches and the main terminal then a generator and then the main terminal again

When gnomad states, "...youll have to go back and activate the system on the right again," (sic) he means after turning on the backup generator, you have to activate the Excavation Zone Lighting Control Panel again.

I don't have any spotlights moving at all. I've turned on all the generators (they won't do anything, saying they're already rebooted).
Already turned on the 3 stand things (clicking them again does nothing).
And clicked the lighting zone control panel over and over (it's said a few different things but now it's saying to turn on the lights). No spotlights.
Can't figure it out but nothing pops up on the screen. Am I supposed to do it in a specific order?

just make sure you save before you enter anything that might be a puzzle

This part was really irritating for me, because it was a poorly thought out "puzzle."
There are a few tiny, barely visible spotlights that come on and go off, and you're somehow supposed to run from one to the other to cross the cavern.
I couldn't do it the way they clearly intended for it to be done, so here's what I did:

-Set game to easiest mode in the options menu, so you are tougher.
-Make sure you have the First Aid skill or a Medkit handy.
-Don't use sneak, run as fast as you can to the middle the cavern.
-Halfway there use a medkit just before you die.
-Just keep running until you get to the lit area around relic.

I died about 20 times trying to do it the way they wanted, until I got fed up. Only took about 5 tries, just running and spamming a heal halfway across the dark cave part.

Funny enough on my first try is just ran straight to the end and used medicine skill to heal myself LOL and i actually reached the relic LOL

It could depend a lot on your characters health and resistances - if you are some wimpy Silver you could die fast and easy whereas A hulking tough Black could do it with ease ?
