Any way to run for election in Carmine Heights?

I was surprised to find that another election was going on in carmine heights and thought this might be a chance for me to repeat my victory in junktown, but so far I haven't found any way to declare my candidacy. Is there a way to run for mayor of carmine heights?

Don't think you can. There's also not a whole lot of content in Carmine Heights aside from the main quest associated side quests.
