Not saying you shouldn't be if that was indeed a feature they promised , but in this case it is because I don't see it in their latest FAQ which was made sticky on the forum .
Again I don't follow every news or update so I could have just missed them .
Regardless , if you are craving for Romance in RPGs theres a couple of them [such as waylander , Baldur's Gate 3. ] coming out , including the recently released Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous .
Again I remain very skeptical on these so called " romance " in recent RPG since they are nothing more than a fling . Look at A.C Valhalla . I have no idea 2 lines of dialogue that triggered 5 seconds of black screen could be considered " romance " .
Please... at least do a simple search in this forum before you try to call someone out. Replying like this is a really bad look for you.
And yeah... I am aware of those games. One of the main reasons I've backed this game, both Pathfinder games, Waylander's etc is because of romance content. I put my $$$ where my mouth is and supported content that I enjoy.
Imagine this. You backed a game because it's supposed to have a feature you really like. Game is released without that feature. How do you feel? Like you've been snaked? Likely.
And you can't show where this was ever a feature that was ever going to be in THIS game.
That's all that was asked for. I looked for it myself and can find no information for kickstarter or anywhere that romance was going to be a feature in Encased.
I think he needs a woman.
Especially those rare games where you get different types of romances. Not just a matter of different characters... but dynamics. Maybe a traditional equal relationship, or one where one partner is submissive, maybe a loving but non-sexual one, or a partner who you just shack up with with no strings attached.
Most of the times all the "romances" in these games end up being pretty copy and paste. Characters might have a different personality, but the romance itself plays out pretty much the same. There's no real depth to it.
1.) You claim over and over and over and..... that there was romance content promised and that that was the draw that made you spend money on this game while noone else seemed to remember anything like that.
2.) The only mentioned "official" statement on ANY romance content that exists is a translation from a user of something someone said in their discord. Which is basicly as unofficial as it can get. And even that stated that the "romance" in the game is basicly being able to hook up with a few NPCs to have a one night stand with and that changes nothing about the game. Nowhere else have I found any official claim their will be romance in the game.
So, the only way you could proof that you aren't just bummed because something that you would have liked to be included isn't or that you just remembered wrong would be to ACTUALLY post proof. Claiming to use the search is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at this point, because I have and there was nothing.
