Do vendors restock their supplies?

I’m mostly asking because I want to do a hardcore fighter build and dump almost all stats that don’t help combat and see if I can kill everyone in the starter area. Lol probably get lockpicking too so I can access every room.

I’m afraid I may run out of ammo.

yes they restock but only money for me as i have seen for now. but i wasnt ingame for around 5 days so i dont know. will replay and check it

i dont want to go back to magellan station or the gas station to see as i get stuck there with no way o getting out after the prologue (those maps are missing transit areas to the world map)

Not sure if she's considered a "vendor" or not, but Jana Zilberman who sells lunches on the residential level seems to have a lifetime limit of three lunches. ...or at least she's not been able to sell more after three days of checking back every morning. I considered mentioning it via in-game mailer, but am not sure if it's intentional or not.

Edit: Also, do we really need to use a liter and a half of water to boil one egg? I'm sure recipes will be tweaked eventually, will there be recipes to boil more than one egg at a time to conserve water?

Edit edit: Also, why can't we just get water from sinks to deal with thirst?

Vendors restock either on a 24hr cycle or by leveling up. Every time you reach a new level, all vendors (and NPCs) restock their inventory. Of course, by leveling up, vendors offer better items, scaling with your level.

you can also save/load to change what vendors have for sale, especially if youre looking in early game for guns or armor ..
