Constant slow motion in-battle
So, I've digged around in the already discussed topics, and I haven't seen this issue being reported yet.
So my computer is a laptop (not the best, but it can run a lot of games at a solid 30 FPS, Dissidia NT included). A MSI GP62 2QE Leopard Pro to be exact.

My problem: In the menus and cutscenes, I have a stable 55-60 framerate. But in battle, it shows 30 FPS. I don't mind 30 FPS. But what annoys me the most, is that the game looks like it runs in slow motion. Every action is delayed by 5 seconds, and every action takes 5 seconds to perform. I don't play online so it shouldn't be a problem to others, but it's really infuriating.

I thought it might be related to my config, so I went to the Settings to change the framerate thresh-hold to 30, only to find that it wasn't an option.
It's the first time I'm dealing with this kind of problem.

Is there a way to fix this?

The slow motion lags are normal atm due to the peer 2 peer system they use for online play so unless that's not fixed you will get awful matches anyway.

But I would focus on 60 fps for play. They capped the FPS to 30 in cutscenes etc, same for the menu (apart from the options whichb is 60 I believe). Just try out fullscreen and borderless window plus lowering the graphic settings. If most your games run 30 I wouldn't try this one as it's very GPU intensive and 60 is a must for smooth play sadly.

Also try playing with the nvidia and energy options of your PC, set it to high performance, download the newest nvidia drivers / or AMD, update them and optimise it. Maybe lower some graphic settings in the software for your graphics card.

But at the moment the problem for stutters and lags in matches are people with bad connection or very low PC specs which brings the whole team down with lags. SE needs to fix it.

Firstof all, thanks for your replies.

does it happened with offline match aswell? if yes, keep an eye for your laptop temperature. Its probably heat throttling. occurs on mine as well.

My laptop is very hot when I play anything. It never really affected gameplay on other games though.

Exactly the same cases with mine, my laptop is hot as well when playing other games like warframe or MHW but it doesnt affect them, only this cases. Look, just keep an eye on the temperature alr8 :)

I have the same issue, and none of games I have in my library lags like this. Everything is choppy from start to finish. And it's not the connection issues. If it was, then it wouldn't explain every other multiplayer games I have that doesn't. But the game also gets very choppy regardless of online or offline play. If it was the graphics card, then it wouldn't explain 99% f the games I have that doesn't suffer the issues. If it helps, my PC specs is i7, win10, 16gb of ram, AMD r9 350 with 2gb of vram.

If some people have no issues with the frame skips, then it either means something is missing on my end...maybe.
