Any hacks or mods for 1v1 PvP play?

I tried this a while back and, well, it's an utter mess... Evidence by how quickly the game died after being whelped... A game that, as I understand it, was quite popular on the PsP (?). For, as we all know, 3v3 hardly ever works -- unless you're talking pure casual chaos / party games -- and it always makes what was once a 1v1 game, much worse.

I know that due to some undiagnosed brains trust problem at SE (leaded water pipes?), both 1v1 and 2v2 options were omitted... 'Cause, hey -- why capitalise on the success of an IP, instead of killing, right? 🙄 However, this being a PC game, have any clever cookies found a work-around to enable proper, traditional mano-a-twinko battles for it?... Or, was interest so scant from the get-go, that it's all but abandonware now...? 🤔

1v1 mode can be set directly.
This is a brand new game mode, far better than the previous confrontation mechanism. I think the confusion is due to the lack of understanding of the system and operation.

1v1 & 2v2 were never omitted from the game. You may play what ever amount of people in a match you'd like, up to 3v3.

Actually spend some time learning the game before trash talking something you obviously have no knowledge on.

Nah. Just spoken like someone who actually knows the game, not like some arrogant troglodyte who insists the game be made for him. If you want to stick to your 15 minute Exdeath matches, that's fine. But come over here and complain about this game not being enough of a cash grab with zero originality or innovation? ♥♥♥♥♥♥ move.

That article is wrong, and severely outdated. You may host custom lobbies and have as many as you wish on your teams, up to 3v3. This includes 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, 2v2, 2v3, 3v3.

I've only been playing (almost daily) since 2017 closed beta, so what do I know. You may continue to make a fool of yourself at your leisure.
