Change to 1v1.

Is there ANY WAY to change this from a 3v3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ where your brain dead AI partners don't help you when you're getting gangbanged by all 3 opponents or keep dying in matches to a straight on 1v1 fight like the old Dissidia games were?

You can in sparring match and custom games.
But that is a very bland experience.
It gets old quick.

If your from the US you can try your luck in the Dissidia Network Discord or alternatively join the DISSIDIA discord and just play 012 with others.

Thanks, how is custom different from gauntlet? I assume it can be played offline since online is dead for this over priced mistake. Oh also is the emulator able to force access to all the DLC Duodecium had as well?

Yes you can use the DLC. As for custom games you can either play that with others or with bots but you can't 1v1 with bots in custom games.

there's sparring match that let you disable 2 other bot from both team so it became 1v1

but no exp gain or anything.... good for try out move set though

They should just give us a 1v1 mode. It would probably revive the franchise.

Yeah I agree with Admiral Smurfs, that & bring back the Special moves like both Dissidia's had. I like how the input is unique to each character but still doesn't feel out of place for them either. It's a shame the 3DS is pretty much out of commission, I'd kill to have 012 ported/improved to the 3DS.

Also doesn't the enemy skill level scale with you too. So even if your A.I. team ranks up won't the computers rank up too? The final boss in story mode is cheap as HELL so I know I'll have to have at least 3 main cast character's maxed out to have a chance against him.

Well it's far & away better than having all 3 A.I. enemies gang bang you while your allies don't lift a finger to help get them off your back, or focusing on a character only to have the (again INCREDIBLY CHEAP) A.I. lock onto you & then dance between you when you try to avoid getting hit.

You never played the psp ones did you? That's the only way you'd think 1v1 would be boring mate.

I've been winning every match with lightning so far, maybe select a different character?
I could play the psp one, never owned a psp, first time playing dissidia, 3 vs 3 is awesome so much carnage and activity.

I do agree 1v1 should be an option, but I rather like team play games so I like this a lot. Why take out 3v3? Why not just leave it and add 1v1?

F**k FF13 & FF7, I've got too much self respect to play as characters from those over rated entries. Also let me clarify, I did mean that I wanted it as a setting. Although with online dead there's really no chance of having a decent match with 6 people playing together.

Funny I get into matches really easily, seems like one of the most active online games I've played on steam so far. And no FF is overrated, I liked everyone of them besides mystic quest.

Don't lie because you like a game man, that's just pathetic. Dissidia NT is DEAD, it's developers have even said so which is why support for it has ENDED.

YES....FF enteries CAN be over rated with FF7 & FF13 being the worst offenders.

For FF7, Cloud's a whiny, self doubting C**KOLD that never truly grows throughout the game. Sephiroth is a weak minded FOOL who's entire purpose is built upon a LIE he convinced HIMSELF of, he's also got a disturbing hard on for Cloud which enters the "I'm gay for you" territory. Aeris (AreiTH is F**KING STUPID & sounds like you're speaking with a lisp so I refuse) is a dense, annoying lifeless character that should never have been created. About the only redeemable characters in FF7 are Zack, Tifa & Nanaki....all the others can burn in hell. The Magic system in FF7 is some of the dumbest, LAZY & useless ones yet, (hey let's PUNISH the player by giving them negative stats when they already have limited magic options to use at once. The Magic/Esper system in FF6 & the Junction system in FF8 are far SUPERIOR to materia in 7.

For FF13 the ENTIRE cast is made of uninspired cliche's. Lightning is an emotionless, unrealistic wannabe badass that has no idea how people actually respond to adversity. Snow is a brainless "Bruh" character that focuses WAY too much on "playing the hero" & even when he "wakes up to reality" doesn't actually grow or smarten up as an individual. Hope is a whiny momma's boy that serves as nothing but shotacon fuel for R18 doujins, Serah serves no purpose except for copying the character design from a HENTAI CHARACTER!! Fang is a PG-13 lesbian d*ke, Vanille is an even blander version of Aeris...if that's even possible. Just about the only believable character is Sazh & even though he still suffers from racial stereotypes like his hair style (thanks again for not growing up & being respectful Japan....>_>).

On TOP of all those faux pas the soundtrack is forgettable ambiance. The combat system is a cheap MESS that allows enemies to attack you while your changing styles & THEY REMOVED FREEDOM TO EXPLORE WHICH IS THE WORST!! F**K Final Fantasy 7.....AND F**K FINAL FANTASY 13 DEAL WITH IT!!

Actually I've beat every numerical FF except 15 and the online ones.
I really agree 6 is in my top 5 fav FF's, but so is 7 and 13.
