Most of the people who dislike the game are the casual players who miss the single player content and the people who prefer 1v1 games.
Outside of those reasons the game is actually great.
Now back on single player content, there is no loot, no items, no equipment, almost no skill customization, besides HP skills. Think this is why people don't like the game much. But IMO it's done this way cause it's more competitive, than PSP versions, cause there you just had to grind for items to be competetive, even if you're bad you could set up cheap skills and have good items and still win. So PSP versions were more action RPG, this is a fighting game in it's pure form. Everything you do are your own actions, nothing can carry yourself besides your own skill.
Thing is, most people who played Dissidia, are more RPG fans than fighting game fans, so IMO it's why such low score.
So it has at least 5 games to compete with and since it isn't like the PSP versions it has to rely on new people playing and not their PSP fans.
I see thanks for the info I might get the game if more people start playing. Hate waiting long for matches and playing online steam games where not much players are online.
I suggest joining the discord or checking out reddit if you want players. matchmaking is pretty much dead.
it's really sad, I'd love the game to be more popular.
Thanks for your input I might get it if player base is more right now not much people playing according to steam charts
I'm a sheep for liking a competitive online game and not a busted one that focused on casuals? lol
