So, SE abandoned this title on PC?

Been waiting since the region lock patch to be able to play again, but sadly it looks as if this was abandoned. I swear, gamers need to band together and sue companies that do this, especially after people dumb hundreds into a game like this with all the micro that they push out!!

Wouldn't say that it's abandoned. It's just that even if they fixed some of the issues on pc nobody would still play this game.

They are still releasing updates and dlc for it. If you want people to play with you go to the discord community.

The game itself is not abandoned but the I think they abandoned fixing it but I could be wrong. They are stacking dlc's on existing mess that still needs to be fixed and I think it's backwards.

no denying that they really need to fix net code but that can be said about any japanese game in the state really. They never fix netcode for US releases which does suck

This is because the game is specifically made for Japanese arcades. Where this game is extremely popular at supposedly.

A remake needs to be done or something done in-house. I know FFXV is a different kind of game but something is obviously being done right with its netplay

The difference is the budget and the focus. Dissidia NT has no where near the budget of a mainline FF game and the focus is always gonna be centered in Japan where the main popularity of the game is at. People often complain about the game being dead but it's dead because nobody wants to play it outside of japan. If the game was actually a hit and everyone played it on ps4 and pc then the game would definitely get the updates it needs due to them wanting to make more money. However due to the very low population of the community in NT they don't really have a desire to do so due to it more than likely being a waste of money for a community that can't offset the cost of updating the game.

They should have just stuck to they way it was on PSP and just brought it to consoles/PC. I found those much more enjoyable than NT.
