Battle-Tested weapon drops

I have been playing octopath for the ps5. I want to know if you can get those weapons from npcs before clearing any chapther 4

You can get an infinite amount. The drop chance is 2% though.

So theres no prerequisites to obtain it via the drop chance? Cause im willing to grind. But i havent finished any of the travelers story

Yup. Just got it. I used warmaster. It took me around 2 hours to get one
