Alternatively something like the dancer can also work very well, given that his speed often allows him to share buffs at the beginning of a round, not wasting valuable turns.
As for the rest of the team it looks quite solid. What subjobs you want pretty much depends on your playstyle.
- If you want to make a healer part of your group, then you could make Cyrus take it as a second job. he has the 2nd highest elemental defense and can throw out some very high heals, though obviously he needs to stop doing dmg while doing so, so it's more like a emergency healer than a main healer at this point, but given how faster cyrus can break enemies you might not need that much heal anyway.
- In my experience Prim works well with the merchant subclass, since when you're not buffing people you can simply spend BPs instead. Another option is the scholar job due to her relatively high elemental attack. Though given that you already have Cyrus, it might be better to take something else instead. And a third option is also Cleric. She isn't really made to be a healer due to her low elemental defense, however the clerics divine skill is still a very strong support skill for Cyrus (or later on for a Sorcerer) in particular
- Tressa is pretty much average in most areas, so you can give her most jobs^^
And if you want to fully switch over, then keep in mind, that you'll most likely dominate anyway due to the stronger weapons, so you don't need to put that much effort into that 2nd team anymore. What you could do as well is just simply using your main team and swapping only one char out. Primrose in particular often gets useless when you're ahead of the chapters, so keeping Therion/Cyrus/Tressa as a fixed team and swapping out the 3rd slot as needed.
Also that's mostly how i play. If you feel like you're not really utilizing a chars skills (or from their subjob), then don't hesitate to switch it around a bit. In that regard you shouldn't be afraid in swapping in underleveled characters, since most stats come from gear instead.
Also stats generally speaking isn't going to make a big difference other than HP growths (which matters especially little later on when you need 10 or so levels + to survive an extra hit or two at best from bosses/regular enemies), due to equipment generally speaking in this game far surpassing raw stat gains (when you don't count the first 20-25 levels where it matters the most outside of path actions). Not to mention nuts being a one time use limited resource you could swing stats however you like.
It was nice to have a second merchant on characters i didn't intend to train anyway, like some sort of BP dispenser, but past that i wasn't really capable of utilizing it properly.
The hired help in particular didn't felt like a good deal to me, given that it cost more than you're actually gaining on many bosses. Like i was barely capable in keeping up with buying weapons for the current chapter until close to the end. Though mind, that i didn't spend hours to just grind for money, since i'm more into casual playthroughs, where i try to keep grinding to a minimum unless it's really necessary.
Yeah, it's definitely less important later on, however if you've the choice between like Cyrus or Olberic for the Sorcerer and Warmaster class, then it's still usually better to have Cyrus taking the sorcerer and Olberic the Warmaster class than the other way around, because there's no reason to not take the few extra points that are important for those classes.
Also what i've meant by "average" isn't just the stats, but also the abilities. She synergizes well with most classes, given that unlike something like DDs she doesn't necessarily need to use her merchant skills every single turn, allowing her to do pretty much anything while the merchant skills aren't needed.
