Alfyn stuck in hometown.

I started off as Alfyn. I went to the cave, beat the snake and brought Zeph the poison to save his sister. I've leveled up to 7. I can handle everything around the town, though the snails that heal themselves can be a pain.

When I return to Zeph's house his sister is still not better. I can't leave the town. In the journal it shows the mission as being done.

A guide I found says that I will talk to myself and realize that I should travel. What makes it happen? Do I need to be a certain level?

Look at the minimap. There should be a green indicator of where to go.

Level is 100% irrelevant to story progress.

About an hour after I posted this I went to my house to rest and the end of the quest triggered. I would've deleted this, but I figured it might happen to someone else.
