Omar boss battle

One hour and twenty minutes. That was a very challenging battle to say the least. I used every dust and grape bunch I had. Lost concentration for one turn attacked wrong guy and the game made me pay. But did not lose / get wiped out still have not seen the game over screen.

If I had to do that over again maybe would have not used collect even though I did get 6000 gp, but there's a lot easier ways

but there's now way I'm doing that over again LOL

now I have to figure out where to find moar of those heal group items or perhaps I should get the white mage. Need soothing dust, essence of grape, and healing grape bunch.

I have to say I am impressed by the level of challenge, you really have to have the battle system mastered to win that fight. At one point after an hour nearly got wiped out twice and was thinking "am I going to die (get whole party wiped out) after an entire hour of this and how angry is that going to make me?" LOL

maybe if had the 30k warrior sword the battle would have been easier, well now I can afford it, but couldn't before

I am appreciating the boss enemy artwork and style of it

I still can't believe it over an hour and 20 mins for a boss fight...

About to do Therion quest will his boss be the same, miy guess is yes.

I am still thinking about that huge battle, and there are some scripted parts which are very cool. For instance at the end he did a regular attack like to show me that just it was possible instead of his attack all for 500 hp attack. Right before he died. I found that hilarous.

Or maybe there is a 5% chance but he never did it till the very end

I believe that when he hits 50%hp (?) he starts to cast the buff on the ninjas making them very dangerous,

it seemed as all 3 of them attacked in a group one after another most times but maybe I was just unlucky?

yes there was one turn when Omar did his hit all and both buffed ninjas did vacuum slice... and that 1 hp tessa support skill saved me.. luckily my warrior also survived...

But my jaw dropped and I felt a rage quit coming on but then found by luck Healing Grape bunch x3 which saved the day =)

I've noticed the war dog in the mansion gives huge XP but I'm not going to exploit it...

One of the better combos I found is have someone with a combo of cleric and dancer. Cleric has a heal all spell, and one of the support abilities of dancer is recover SP each turn. That SP recovery is more than you spend on the first heal spell, so every round you can heal everyone and save your BP for when a higher damage attack comes and never run out of SP during the fight.

if you alternate, it works well.

i used like all 16 dust that I had but one of them is restore SP all

It doesn't take much to unlock multi classes. Once you begin Chapter 2 it is pretty easy to unlock them. Since Omar is part of Chapter 2, you can get them all.

When you get into any level 20ish zone, there are shrines scattered in those zones that you go into, examine the pedestal and the secondary job is unlocked
