OCTOPATH TRAVELER
Benefit of non-active secondary jobs?
Just unlocked first one and I am trying to understand the system.

Is there any benefit if you get secondary job that you DONT keep active (neither want use any Support skill from it).

Does make sense take more than 1-2 eventually?

You're thinking of this wrong.

Secondary jobs are basically equipment, in a sense. Once you take them off, you aren't 'wearing' them any more. You can swap as much as you want but it won't affect anything inherently. You can, of course, keep and equip any passive skills you unlocked with that job, just that's it -- character stat growth is fixed to the character and JP is a full pool for the character to use on whatever skills they want.

So basically, use whatever combos you want, grab passives from other jobs if you need them.

That's never going to happen. Unless you know how to decompile the source code.of the exe.

Yea, i was jsut curious if some stat increase or distribution is changed or smth. So if I dont want the passive there is no point in taking inactive job for the character, wanted be sure about this. Thanks.

= provoke, Guide = Allure, Steal > Purchase) this in fact not needed or requested by me

Neither me. Asking for that is really asking to make some people lose their time coding this mod.
