Nice! Please Add Xbrz Graphic Filter
Please add xbrz graphic filter so I can experience this game with smooth clear sprites instead of pixelation.

that is a gaussian filter not an xbrz filter.

xbrz still looks terrible, it - like every other "resample filter" around - just ruins the original image and turns crisp, clean, lines into jelly bubble monstrosities :( Also, your first image is *heavily* modified/filtered too, and absolutely not a clean source image.

An option like that wont hurt but that wont happen considering they pretty much prepared the PC ver already .

At all. Ever.

The only "true" way to view such delightful pixel art is on a CRT; with hardware scanlines, phosphor glow, and - if via composite/SCART - some delicious pixel bleeding. Failing that, on modern displays, just leave the pixels unfiltered for crisp lines.

True, besides if someone truly does want resampling.. there are plenty of options, such as ReShade. I do enjoy using scanline shaders on 2D/pixel-art titles, but that's something that doesn't touch the artwork in any way.

ReShade now has a ported xBrz shader;

However, this is really only for 2D titles - whereas Octopath Traveller utilises what SE call "HD-2D", with 2D pixel-art sprites on a 2.5D plane using 3D models. You likely won't get adequate results.

I'm just messing with you
Like the others I don't personally like filters, but if it'd make the game more enjoyable for you, then I'll be hoping along with you that there's a filter option.

that xbrz for reshade is not right. use it on mario kart and youd see just like in my pic, it doesn't make those steps on the letters a straight line. xbrz also affects pixelation in textures that is on a 3d object. also, i ask again, why do ppl go against optional features??? I dont have a $3k laptop just to look as pixelation........

Is there a filter like that in reshade or sweetFX?

There is a scanline filter in reshade that I assume would be better than nothing.

Used to play Pokemon with such filters, but since Chrono Trigger year ago I love pixels <3.
