"Bargain Hunter" achievement not unlocking

Hello, I am going for 100% completion in this game and for some reason the achievement titled Bargain Hunter that involves simply buying something for the first time won't unlock, I have tried three different stores now and bought different things each time and it won't unlock, seeing as I am going for 100% completion, this is kind of annoying, did anyone else have this problem?

You need to use Tressa's path action. Buy something from an NPC with money. It has nothing to do with stores.
