Relatar um problema com a tradução
Personally, I'll just let people like and dislike something for whatever reason they want.
It's not my problem, nor does it affect my quality of life. There's no need for me to
enter a millennium-long argue in a sentimental attempt at changing their views.
They have the human right to disagree with me, it's not criminal for them to disagree with me.
And......well, that's where it ends : )
I'm clearly talking about turn based jrpgs, no ♥♥♥♥ you like tales of symphonia in 60 fps over 30 (its 30 on the ps3) when its basically a 2d fighter- whats next, you like CSGO in 144 fps as well and think I´m fine with 30fps? And most of these old 2D games you wouldnt noticed the diffrence hardly anyway, they are just locked at whatever the tv could support- you arnt gonna enjoy CT much more in 60 fps then 30fps. Speaking of which, EU/PAL had 50 hz for decades, meaning no one in europe ever played those classic JRPGS in 60 fps, in other words 20% less game speed- guess what? nobody cared. It was fine. Yes playing Final Fantasy 6 in 50fps instead of 60 on the SNES wasnt a big deal.
im all for unlimited fps, but if its locked at 30 fps for a jrpg turnbased- the only people who is freaking out, are the people who wants to freak out because they are those kind of people.
Yes, you wont play "better" or feel the smoothness in a turnbased jrpg when playing in 30,60 or 144 fps. its a text menu system. So keep pretending that 144 fps when moving a d-pad in text based battlesystem is changing the world, it isnt.
But to make you guys 100% sure, AGAIN, I´m all for unlimited framerate, go ahead developers, give people the options. If you however release a JRPG (which for ex IGN gav 9.3) is still locked at 30 fps- it wont stop real JRPG fans from getting the game.
You would have to be... well never mind, I dont wanna trigger anyone again.
I genuinely think you're wasting your time at this point, it's clear (s)he is just trolling for reactions.. something I'm ashamed to say I provided by falling for the bait. It's clear to everyone else that perceived smoothness of motion has nothing to do with "playing the game better" and is purely for comfort and less eye-strain .. so meh. Either SE will unlock it, or mods will, or nothing will and we'll just have to DWI - but I'm done feeding :)
who said you wouldnt, im talking about anyone refusing to buy a jrpg because its locked in 30 fps. they are playing the wrong genre then.
Also, we had FF6 in our home, have no idea now if it was a "fixed" SNES or an american one (I have older siblings) - I def know I had a japanese adapter for my genesis (called mega drive here) becuase I could play japanese sonic 2 on it (my dad imported it, friend with a person living in tokyo back in the 80´s).
And since our pal/tv was 50 hz, no way was it playing 60 fps. ofc looking back at it now I cant be sure about tv either tbh since I was 7 or so.
I started gaming already on the NES, so yes, I played many many games- but I always assumed FF6 came to EU since we had it (ofc I was a kid back then), but have to ask my brother or sister about that now.
Because we know how horrible persona 5 is on the ps4!
but there is no boycot of persona 5 or massive anger because of 30 fps lock- why? because turnbased text combat works great in 30 fps (YES I SAID GREAT).
Also: While I played the hell out of Persona 5, I would have enjoyed it even more at 60 fps.
Sadly I'm willing to bet that it's down to the engine.. UE4 just isn't a great engine, it's surprisingly taxing and in unskilled hands can result in terrible performance, especially on such incredibly low-end hardware like the Switch (which is just a quad-core ARM Cortex processor and an equivalent of a GeForce 830M... disappointingly low end stuff)
It's absolutely possible too, if you have a great-spec PC ;) One of the amazing benefits to emulation is the additional tweaks/hacks you can do -- for instance, the PSP version of "Final Fantasy Type-0" has a flawless 60fps mod, it's just a shame the PC version of the same game is capped at 30 and feels mighty unpleasant with it :(
Any way... Persona 5, PS3, 60fps -- if your system can handle it. Performance will improve as the emulator matures as well ;)

Glorious!
I wonder what resident trollbag will say about this? "Persona 5 doesn't need 60fps!" xD
