There's no real trick - it's possible to get extremely lucky with big "100x" returns from Bewildering Grace against a group of Caits but the odds of that happening are very slim and you'll more than likely just end up wasting your time trying to do it.

The most reliable way to level in the late-game is going to be running through the Forest of Purgation with a Sorcerer that clears the encounters on the first turn. Preferably, someone with a high enough speed stat that can wipe the screen on the first action (Therion or Primrose can both do a fine job as Sorcerers - especially if you have any element-boosting equipment like Heathcotes Dagger or Harald's Sword). Naturally, you'll want someone in the party using Exp/JP boosting accessories and passives while you're doing this. It may also save time to sprint while moving and have someone equipped with a Forbidden Bow/Alluring Ribbon to increase the encounter rate.

I have found and seen those caits, they tend to run away fast, where are they and how do I kill them?

Well, my point is that you probably shouldn't go out of your way to look for them if your goal is to level efficiently.

But if you want, they have a chance of showing up in several of the 45+ zones - Everhold Tunnels, Marsalim Catacombs, places like that.

purgatory of forest is the safe bet then, heard a few mention it before and sicne you did it as well now... might be where I will be heading.
heard I should be around levekl 65-75 with all party member to get the true ending/ when facing the real last boss.
so im aiming to be around 70+ with everyone...

Caits appear randomly with a very low chance to replace a random enemy in any formation. You can either use high-level magic or use any Soul Stone as magic can’t miss. Chubby Caits are the only ones with more than 5 health as they actually have 80, so if you have a Sorcerer that goes before the Chubby Cait, use any of the three-hit skills to hopefully kill it. All Caits will run away the first turn they get if no enemies are damage. However, they do have a chance to use “Grooming” to heal themselves or other enemies, so damaging an enemy may increase the chances the Cait stays for an extra turn.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the fact that Caits normally have very high evasion and defense stats. Even with my Cyrus being level 70+ with Sorcerer and the Absolute Zero Staff, Glacies Claudere can only manage around 24-30 damage for each hit in the skill. Mind you, this means that these little cat things have more elemental and physical defense than a literal GOD like Dreisang, Balogar, Winnehild, or Steorra! Who created these things?! Did one of the gods just say, “Hey, I’m gonna make a cat thing but like… I’m gonna make it more protected than us as a joke. But they’ll give a lot of money and XP.”
This game can be ridiculous sometimes and I love it.
