Also, I don't care what people say. I was charmed by her speech patterns. And I thought the person doing those lines did a great job.
Wouldst thou seek a personage to inhabit they genesis? Let H'aanit fill thy orisons!
Ofc I was tempting to go Ophelia since if you travel clockwise with her, you spell out "Octopath" Ophelia,Cyrus,Tressa,Olberic,Primrose,Alfyn,Therion,Hánnit = Octopath.
Someone said this is the semi-canon route probably... he might be right- I havnt played much of the game yet.
OMG. Thanks for that!
If I had to play the game again, Cyrus. I had no idea about the Strategist achievement being missable. Had I known that, I would of analyzed every enemy in each area before introducing the fourth party member.
For speedruns it seems like Tressa is the best. Hired Help is not scaled by gear or levels, so if you have money you will win most boss fights. I have yet to do this myself, but it seems pretty hilarious to beat Tressa's Chapter 4 as a level 14.
One of T's is Therion...
Now that I know where things are, I usually start with Ophelia just because finishing her and Olberic's stories lets you access some useful items that are best picked up as early as possible.
Update: I've found online info that when you get 4th member then some enemies actually disapper. It is sad.
It's rough, and it almost burned me out when I discovered it. Then I reinstalled the game, beat the true end boss, got all the chests, hidden items and quests done, and now I feel like playing the game all over again haha
I don't mind playing the game again, now knowing what I know. I'm looking forward to Fleetfoot and Lone Traveler, but I'm also looking forward to Strategist too! Starting with Cyrus and being meticulous about analyzing early sounds tough but there's only 4 missable enemies in Octopath. There's a guide on Steam that can help you, too.
This time i am using Primrose. She is the true Gambler class. You can just leave the the game to compelte luck including charming npcs. The best parts of her kit is the randomness. Also she as one of the best stoires and personailies to me any ways. Alfyn and Primrose are the coolest.
yes I missed therion I wrote Tressa twice by misstake.
