Collector Achievement: List of all not-so-obvious items
First of all, thanks to "marcv666", "The Fox", "Burd!" and "clin69" for helping me figuring all of this out.

After finally getting this achievement, I can now confirm that you only need to own the items at some point during the game, you do NOT need to have all items in your inventory at the same time. I confirmed that by buying one of the weapons from the store, selling it again and then collecting the rest of the items. I got the achievement while the weapon i sold was still missing from my inventory. While this means you could in theory sell all the stuff you don't need, you might want to hang on to it anyways, because it might be a pain to figure out what you are missing in the end elsewise. Thanks to steam user "The Fox", I can also confirm that junk items are needed for this achievement, as he got it with his last item being a junk item.

So, how do you do this? To get the achievement, you need to get all 501 different items. You also need to get all quest valuables available in the game, but you might give a lot of them away to solve side stoires, so the number you will have left of them at the end will be different for everyone. I currently don't have a number for them, but as long as you steal/purchase from every npc and finish every quest, you should not be able to miss any. There are also 61 pieces of quest knowledge, three of them are missable, but they don't seem to be relevant for the achievement, or at least the missable ones are not. Thanks to steam user "clin69" for confirming that you can get the achievement without the missable quest knowledge.

Most of the items you just get by doing all the obvious stuff: finishing all 32 main story chapters, the final boss, all side quests, stealing/purchasing from every npc, collecting all inquire/scrutinze hidden items, opening all chests, buying missing items from every store. There are a few items that are a bit more hidden, though. Here's a list where to get them all:

  • Obsidian Garb (Armor): Steal from the adds in the battle with the boss in Primrose's Chapter 3.
  • Monster Perfume (Consumable): Steal/Loot from Believer I/II (Seaside Grotto) or from Zealot I/II, Mattias's Follower or Mattias's Minion (all Ebony Grotto).
  • Bottled Breath (Consumable): Steal/Loot from Researcher I (Yvon's Birthplace/Cellar).
  • Pseudo Cider (Consumable): Steal/Loot from Researcher II (Yvon's Birthplace/Cellar).
  • Poysenberry (Consumable): Steal/Loot from Researcher III (Yvon's Birthplace/Cellar).
  • Mace (Staff): Challenge/Provoke the Roving Naturalist in North S'warkii Trail.
  • Ali's Bread (Consumable): Challenge/Provoke the Sand Man in Sunshade. Only available after finishing Tressa's Chapter 4.
  • Hip Flask (Junk Item): Challenge/Provoke the Fishmonger in West Clearbrook Traverse.
  • Feather Duster (Junk Item): Challenge/Provoke the Erstwhile Retainer in Atlasdam.
  • Joshua's Weak Points, Archibold's Weak Points, Gustav's Weak Points (Knowledge): These are missable during Olberic's Chapter 2! Be sure to get it by inquirering/scrutinizing all your opponents before fighting them!

Also, these items can be found in the game files, but I could not find them anywhere, and I still got the achievement. Because of that, it's pretty safe to say that they are probably not used in the game.

  • Rigid Wire (Junk Item)
  • Timepiece (Junk Item)

EDIT: finally got the achievement, time to rewrite this post again and add some more information.

Thanks for confirming this. I was suspecting they do since I figured out you don't need to have all items in your inventory at the same time to get the achievement, but was not able to 100% confirm this before.
For the OP, thank you so much for this post. I really needed to find these remaining objects to get the collector achievement. I got no clue of them at all, and I didn't see them on any other website/guide
Kezo 3. Aug. 2019 um 2:26
I'm happy to hear my post could help some of you find the stuff they were missing. Yeah, all the guides that were made a year ago when the game was originally release on Switch didn't contain this information, because there were no achievements on Switch so it wasn't relevant. And it seems like most guides didn't get any updates for the Steam version. It took me a lot of time to find all these items.

@Kezo. I'm currently doing the lone traveler achievement. Got any clue on how to do the fleetfoot one?
Kezo 3. Aug. 2019 um 6:06
Fleettoot is actually pretty easy, you only have to finish the four chapters of your "main" character. There are videos of speed runs online that accomplish this in less than one hour. You got four hours to get the achievement, so you can just copy a route from one of the speed runs and still take your time with it.
Wow, are you serious it's only four hour to accomplish this!? Man, I'm going through 4 ep. with only Tressa right now, and I had a serious bad time fighting against the venomtooth tiger. It's gonna take me about 10-12 hours to finish the lone traveler at this rate. I'm thinking ways to farm faster and do what it takes. I'm just considering to use 3 characters to finish faster

Well Lone Traveler obviously takes longer as you have to solo everything, and it has no time limit. But as I said, Fleetfoot is not that hard, as long as you got a route to follow it's actually much easier than it sounds. You can just use Tressa again. As Lone Traveler requires you to learn every detail of the fights and how to take advantage of soulstones and Hired Help, that knowledge will help you a lot when doing the same thing again for Fleetfoot. But as you are not required to solo Fleetfood, it will be a lot easier.

I've seen some posts in here indicating 501 pieces in the all inventory tab - Is there a full list from the all tab I can check against (preferably one in the same order as the inventory itself)? I've confirmed I have all of the knowledge. I have all of the weapons, accessories, armors and junk. I've opened every chest, bought everything from every shop and stolen/purchased from all of the NPCs in town. Iv'e stolen/challenged for the ones in the original post. I still don't have an achievement pop. I'm struggling to figure out what I am missing.

122 in 'items'

42 in 'headgear'
18 in 'shields'
33 swords
29 spears

30 bows
32 staff

not included above but;
61 knowledge
17 valuables (after having turned in several for quests)
Kezo 6. Aug. 2019 um 18:36
You might be missing a quest valuable, but that might be a little difficult to track down.

So funny story. I had a dream about an NPC in the North S'warki Trail. Woke up turned on the game, stole a Giant tusk from him and popped the achievement. I guess valuables are needed! thanks for the compare help!
I hope i dpnt annoy anybody by bumping this thread but im in a bit of a dilemma here. So i have all 501 items in the ALL tab and all 61 knowledges as well. So im missing at least one quest item, but i have already completed all sidequests and now im worried that i locked myself out. I also didnt get the attendants mask in therions chapter 3 but the Blackmarkets inventory list instead. So i hope that doesnt screw me over. Anybody who can give me some info here?
Kezo 5. Sep. 2019 um 11:25
I can confirm that it does not matter which of the items you got at the black market, as it is impossible to get more than one. Also, tracking down missing quest items might be a bit of a pain when most quests are already completed, but you should still be able to get all of them. I don't think any quest valuables become unavailable at any point.
