Having hubs to run around in and do side quests with only 2 or 3 proper stages per movie is not fun. And the vehicle stages are terrible. felt like this game was designed for solo play and co-op was an after thought because I only play this co-op and we dont want to split up and do mundane crap around the open world. We just wanna play like the old games, a simple beat em up and get through stages.
Worked for me.
>We just wanna play like the old games, a simple beat em up and get through stages.
Way to research the game. It was made very clear it wouldn't be like that. The open world has been an emphasis in Lego games for a decade now. Welcome to the current times.
Not gonna change my mind on this. I know other people enjoy this and I wouldn't want to take that away from them so ill just play the old ones and hope they can refine this system in the future.
That's nonsense. Basically every comment I saw on this game was about how missions were shorter and there was more emphasis on the open world aspects. I was on the board for five minutes and saw a bunch of posts by people like you complaining about this. And many of the reviews certainly mentioned it. And, sorry, videos aren't going to teach you crap.
>I wonder why? maybe cuz its boring and they didnt waste their time on them since they had to get the review out quick.
Of course. All the video reviewers are lazy. They often use file footage and record some half-assed five minute script with lame jokes and then move onto the next game. You're going to the worst source of reviews and then wondering why they're so crappy. Try reading actual reviews and reading fan comments.
>Not gonna change my mind on this.
I'm not saying you're wrong or anything...it's your preference. I just think you should have seen it coming...I don't think you researched it well or you'd have known about this. The emphasis on open world was easily the thing most discussed and complained about.

More likely Traveler's Tales will step away from Lego games for a while.
Your opinion is incorrect, then.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: "Well then you are lost!"
this one is two steps backward and felt lacking in any real soul
same things over and over most of the time.
gameplay wise all the other lego starwars games are better, even the one for gameboy advance
