How to use the Wingstick? ( SOLVED)

Dunno if it's a bug, because when this game launched i remember having completed that early minigame to get those range things.

Here i restart a game, talk to that girl, launch the contest and...nothing. Target appears, my bare hands laughing at me. Clicking on left mouse button = i strike with fists. Trying to change weapon by G or control key means nothing.

I remember i stopped playing the game because i decided to attack the bandits without using a quad...and even being very cautious the defenders were far OP.

Many gamers say that game is ♥♥♥♥. I personally appreciate the graphics. The engine runs fine and the atmosphear is immersive. But it seems that many things are here to make us...rage and quit the game.

It's an item. You have a button for using items, default is Q. There are on-screen hints telling you what button to use, and if you miss those, there is controls configuration where you can check the current controls.

I just want to know something, why do you play games if you can't figure out how to play them? Not to be condescending, but you can go outside and throw a ball with your friends and not need any instructions. You don't need this kind of frustration.

Erm, i was just going to edit, saying i found out the A key and the F1 to F4 keys to change them.
Yeah, i just missed the on screen instruction, i should not watch TV at the same time...

Anyway, you are condescending, but i'm used to meet agressive kids on Steam forums, so i won't suffer from your comment.

je suis comme fredingue en 2013 =Le winstick n'apparaît pas et je reste avec mes poings....
J'ai essayé toutes les manips mêmes des très compliquées sur les conseils des concepteurs de rage = sans succès….Je ne suis donc pas allé très loin dans le jeu à l'époque, pourtant sur un PC très puissant pour les jeux. Ayant un nouvel ordinateur à 6000 € ! Avec tout ce qu'il y a de plus performant j'ai recommencé le jeu en 2018 = résultat toujours néant avec le Winstick;Je me retrouve avec mes poings ; Très décevant ; pourtant le jeu paraît excellent ; je viens de voir qu'il y a un patch qui corrige beaucoup de choses mais qui ne parle pas du Winstick ; Je n'ai pas trouvé comment l'installer et puisque c'est un jeu en ligne avec steam, je ne vois pas bien ce que cette MAJ vient faire. Bethesda pas très sérieux sur ce coup.Peut-être ne suis-je pas assez compétent mais je vois que je ne suis pas le seul avec ce bogue

F3 to switch to wingsticks, then press q to throw them.
When you go to Settings > Controls it does not really say this so it is confusing. The secondary items are referred to as "Quick slots" and pressing f1 - f4 switches the item.
