Detective Achievement: Where is it? is it even in the game?

I've looked everywhere and haven't found anything. I believe Streum forgot to properly code it in game. Otherwise someone would have found it by now.

They say it's working. I imagine it's something obscure that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ none of us would think to have tried out.

I think it refers to the body of a dead Jian that is referenced a few times throughout the game, which is probably hidden somewhere.

I expect there are supposed to be clues to the location of the corpse, but the game is so poorly translated (and just really crazy in general) that nobody seems to have legitimately achieved this yet.

Well I've looked into the map files in several mapping programs and I was able to found references to almost every achievement but this one.
The story file has nothing related to this either (both the French and English files).
There is a body on Mars whose armor corresponds to a Light armored Jian, but it doesn't trigger anything. Also, the killer is nowhere to be seen.

The only Jian I've ever found dead is the one in front of the portal on Mars. Perhaps there is somebody beyond the portal that triggers the quest. I'll check that on my next playthrough.

Still nothing about this? I've been checking google, and such, every few months and I haven't found anything about it. I'm going to readily assume that the only people that have this achievement have used that program that unlocks them for you instantly.

Well, this is a disappointment. Me and my friends have not yet gotten to Mars, and we saw the achievement and our inner completionists yearned for it.

Don't bother guys. There's nothing there, that's why I asked the Astats people to mark it as broken on their website.

This achievement was broken since launch. Like Corsario said there is no trigger for this in any of the maps in the game.

My last 2 theories concerning this achievement are:
- obtained by typing something into the console, like the 'secret phrase' in Garry's Mod
- Obtained by getting the highest score in Klaatum's Ladder on every stage. But that scale is so confusing that I don't know if the highest score is 1, or 10.

Seems unlikely, both have nothing to do with the description of achievement.
Have you tried possessing different NPCs maybe?

I tried posessing Akmal once, it was pretty tough to achieve, and he resisted movement a lot, but other than that it's no different than posessing any other NPC.

I got an idea of who is murderer but I do not know how to trigger it or achieve it in game. The idea is about protagonist being that murderer. Assume we should find murderer of dead jian who lays before portal in tombs on Noctys. Within meter or two we see blood pool in form of big palm. We can find exact same blood pool in form palm at the start cave where everyone is dead except protagonist. We can find exact bloodpool in looters apartments in New Eden where we kill everyone in order to find cyberbrain (again, everyone is dead except protagonist). We can find same bloodpool in Huan Lo Pan's temple where we again kill everyone. I think there are some steps to have that jian alive and he will be hostile to us. Then we kill him we will have this achievement.
There are some hidden mechanics in this game, for example, if player will not be able to hack very first door in cave then some time later he will be offered to shoot some controller in order to open door. I think there is still some hidden step to have jian alive, maybe we should gather three gates in straight order.
