Meta says TWD: Saints & Sinners is cross buy?!
I own TWD: Saints & Sinners on Steam and now got a Q3.
The Meta store lists this game as 'cross buy' but also writes somethings like 'Rift games can be played on Quest' ... do gamers have to buy games for Rift and Quest separately or does 'cross buy' mean the purchase is valid for Oculus/Meta and Steam?

Edit: wtf people really had to buy games from Oculus store a second time to get the quest version. If I would have known that I wouldn't buy me a Q3 to not support this greed.

Anyways... any ways to know and get Ocolus keys for games I already own in Steam?

As you saw, cross buy is for Meta stores like Rift, Quest... Not Steam. This last version if the better one. I don't own the game, but if I do I will buy it on Steam. What's holding me back is compatibility: Q3 has just been released and the game is not recent. Did you try ?

You can redeem games for all Meta Quest and Oculus VR headsets using the Meta Quest app for Android and iOS.

To activate your game:

• Install the Meta Quest app.
• Open the mobile app and log in.
• Select "Menu" in the bottom-right corner of your app.
• Choose "Settings".
• Select "Redeem store code".
• Enter your activation key, then choose "Submit".

Keys are gifts from devs, so you will not find them on official stores. Only on the gray market.

no need to own it twice... just get it for steam since that version will be still playable once you move away from a quest eventually.

it is no greed, since nobody forces you to buy them twice. some people might not even have a (gaming) pc, and they use the quest stand-alone. you can choose and steam vr is the better choice for sure.
